Our Story
The Kingston, Ontario bronzing business began in Montreal, Quebec in 1948. The original owners Dave and Arthur combined their two names, and Davar Bronzing became a reality.

The business was relocated to Kingston in 1983 with Keith Gilles as its owner, continuing its long tradition of excellence in the art of bronzing. The young apprentice at the time, Kevin Fredricks, continued to hone all the necessary skills to achieve excellence in the craft and upon Keith's retirement in 2005 Kevin bought Davar Bronzing, becoming the third owner

Kevin's many years of experience provide unsurpassed craftmanship while maintaining and building a large list of Canadian clients from coast to coast as well as providing bronzing services to the U.S.

With a renewed interest in the tradition of bronzing, the next generation is finding new and interesting ways to engage in the bronzing process. From pregnant belly casts to pet collars, ballet slippers, hockey sticks and pucks, to garden statues and hanging decor. The only limit is your imagination!
